Early childhood education isn’t really a very old concept. The proponents of this concept started to talk about the idea around 1962. Some philosophers in the 16^th century believe that the mother is the best teacher for children 6 years old and under. Children are naturally playful. Instead of trying to control this behavior, it can be used to further the child’s education. For example, giving kids coloring pages will keep them happily occupied while at the same time allowing them to learn about the basic concepts of arts such as line, shapes and colors. At the same time, their hands will have some exercise that will help make their hands stronger. This will result in finer motor skills which are very important in accomplishing more complex tasks. Drawing and writing requires that the hand muscles be strong enough. Training a child early will help him become more competitive when he eventually goes to school
